God's Perfect Work

Well, the title says it all. God always has a perfect work. A little more than a year ago I was seeking God asking him to show his power to my children and to increase their faith. As most of you know, less than an hour later I broke my leg in many pieces. My children were there and were there to see his perfect work to set it and heal it. Today you cant even tell. Since then God has done so many things that according to mans knowledge is impossible but HE made it possible. We have rejoiced through it all with our children. In recent days my mind has been about fighting battles in the Lord and yesterday was, as I have written, about having eyes single unto Christ in the midst of a storm. I have been in several trials for some time and have had Gods comfort through it all. Today he added something else to our plate. Tony lost his job. It was such a shock. The Lord has blessed him in this job for just short of 8 years. He always hit his numbers (he is in sales), trained many employees, had good reports etc. He was the only one in Idaho making his numbers and the only one making the company money. He went in the office for his Wednesday meeting and they were told they were cutting the work force and would call in each employee. They got rid of Tony, his manager who also has been a top performer before taking the manager position, the secretary and 2 new people they just hired. They kept 3 sales guys that have struggled. The company is a huge national company that was started during the depression and has never lost money. This move makes no sense to anyone. On paper it really doesn't make sense. Anyway, we know it is just Gods plan for us. I just see how over the last year, God has prepared our household for this. We have one child that has always been a worrier. We try to be careful what we speak about openly as to cut down on the worry. Today, they were the one saying they knew it was all going to be just fine and that God would provide. It was so sweet to see how God had increased them and took the worry away. So, here we are, waiting to see what God has in store. On to a new adventure!
