Fervent Love

"Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever."

If you can't tell my thoughts have been on loving one another fervently.

Websters says:

2: exhibiting or marked by great intensity of feeling : zealous

We say we love our brethren but do we love them "with great intensity of feeling"? Isn't that fervent love what drives us to our knees when they call for prayers? So, if we don't feel that drive to pray a sincere prayer for them, does that mean that we don't have the intense feeling that we should? If that fervent love dwells within us, wouldn't we be there to hold up the hands that hang down? If that fervent love dwells within us, wouldn't it be easy to put our brethren before our self? What do you think it mean to love one another with a pure heart fervently? Have you ever thought about it? Can you honestly say that you love your brethren fervently?
