Fruit Of My Lips

"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. "

I don't really have time to make a long post but do want to share what is on my mind, not just today but for the last couple of days. Do I quickly offer up the fruit of my lips? Do I praise him continually? Do I find peace and comfort in the storm and STILL praise him? Do I only offer up the praise to my brethren or do I, just as quickly, offer it to the world that they may see the power of God? God is always faithful, am I? Do I strive to be?

"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;


To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.


Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:


When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.


My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me. "
