Copy Cat...

"Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample."

I have been thinking about this this morning.  We can all think of someone that we have made note of for their example.  It is important to remember that it is talking about their example of their service to the Lord, the putting on of the fruits of the spirit and not things of personality.  As God created each one, he made us all different.  He purposely didn't create carbon copies so why do some try to "copy" others?  Do we think that God created some one's personality better than our own?  He created us all for a reason and to BE DIFFERENT.   By taking on someones personality traits are we telling the Lord that something was wrong with his creation, the way that he made us?  In school we all knew kids that started doing or saying things because of their peers but as adults shouldn't we be past that?  It is good to see the spiritual things and desire to better our spiritual man.  It is good to read and study about how to be Christ like and what should come from us.  Let's encourage one another to note the examples of spiritual things.  Let's remember that God created us to be US.   There is no need to be "copy cats".  Be the part of the body that God created you to be not an imitation of someone else. 

"Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him."

Remember you are made for HIS glory so don't try to be someone else :)
